F+B MANAGER

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual as Food & Beverage Manager overseeing the Fine Dining, Brasserie & Conference & Banqueting facilities along with the Spa Bar and Temple Gate Coffee shop.

The ideal candidates will have hands on experience of working at 3 and 4 star Hotels (minimum), preferably within AA Rosette awarded establishments; be able to manage a large team, ensuring customer focus; be hardworking and flexible with a professional attitude and with high standards of organisation, people and financial management and extensive food/wine knowledge.

Full-time position working on a shift basis including weekends and evenings

FOOD & BEVERAGE ASSISTANTS

We currently have opportunities for experienced Food & Beverage Assistants to join our team at Bowood Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort. Previous bar experience within a busy environment is essential. 

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed individuals who are passionate about providing excellence customer service and memorable guest experiences.  In addition applicants must be available year round and be able to work mornings, afternoons and evenings shifts on a rota basis.  Please note that we currently have a full compliment of summer seasonal staff.  

The opportunities will be in our busy Food & Beverage environments. The ideal candidates will be customer-focused, hardworking, flexible, reliable and service-minded individuals with experience within a Brasserie or Conference and Banqueting environment, and will have proven experience of delivering and providing a high standard of service to guests.

It is essential for the candidates to be motivated, professional, with high standards of personal presentation as well as being able to work well as part of a team to ensure that the food and beverage department operates to an excellent standard.


 BEAUTY THERAPIST

3 therapists required:

Under the general direction of the Spa Manager to be responsible to drive sales and revenue in the beauty department and to conduct training and development with the Spa and beauty team. Also to ensure appropriate beauty advice and treatments are given to all clients and to promote beauty treatments available to potential clients. Responsible for all clients with Spa treatment and consultations, ensuring high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Experience/attributes required

  • Minimum NVQ level 3
  • Or relevant current trade experience in a well known spa
  • High level of attention to details
  • Excellent customer service skills, polite and well presented
  • Organisational skills, good telephone manner and computer literate.
  • Experience with Jessica manicure/pedicure.

Other training provided and paid for by Bowood Spa 

Position is casual but continuous expected minimum 20 hours / week..

 

HEAD CHEF / SENIOR SOUS CHEF 

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individuals as Head Chef / Senior Sous Chef. The hotel built 2 years ago benefits from a very large, well equipped modern kitchen, Deputising to our New Head / Executive Chef you will be part of an ambitious team under the hotels new management to take the cuisine and business forward.

The position would suit someone with quality kitchen management experience, cooking hands on daily for each service and collaborating with the Head Chef on menu design and cost control. All fresh produce menus, focusing on modern British cuisine, catering for fine dining (2 rosette) and conferences and events. (Brasserie kitchen is separate but will require Sous Chef input from time to time)

ROOM ATTENDANT / HOUSEKEEPERS PART TIME/FULL TIME

Part time Room attendants (2/4) required for saturdays (9-3) and sundays (10-4), no previous experience required, although good attention to detail and general good domestic/housekeeping skills preferable.

Full time Room attendant (1) required for 5 day / week working 9-3 including weekends.  Previous experience preferable but not essentia, reliability and attention to detail, team player etc, more important.
